  Print vs. Embroidery

Print vs Embroidery

Whether you choose print or embroidery is largely down to the look you are trying to achieve.

Embroidery offers a texturally rich, three dimensional finish, but cannot successfully reproduce graduations in a design and becomes expensive as the design gets larger.

Embroidery is good for:

  • Designs with up to a dozen colours
  • Chest, back and sleeve logos
  • Nylon Fabrics that are pu coated
  • Badges

Vinyl Printing is good for:

  • Large designs
  • Logos with only a few solid colours
  • Flock, glitter, metallic and other specialist effects
  • Applications requiring reflective elements

Full Colour Transfer is good for:

  • Designs with colour graduations
  • Very intricate and detailed designs
  • Small multi-coloured designs
  • Applications that are inaccessible by embroidery
